For the Classico Horse, Ulysse Nardin employs the intricate champlevé method.
In 18-karat rose gold, the Classico Horse 40mm features the self-winding UN-815
movement, visible through its sapphire crystal exhibition window located on the
case back. The timepiece has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The design
of the Classico Horse charges forward with passion. An emotional piece, it’s
a symbol of one’s freewill balanced by self-discipline. It’s a timepiece made for the
independent-minded. Limited edition of 88 pieces.

In the year of the horse in the Chinese zodiac, various watch brands launch
their carefully crafted equestrian-themed timepieces, which represent the
culmination of their skills and crafts, and express their wishes with this
beautiful animal. These watches feature miniature engravings and paintings,
ink-wash and golden decorations, as well as various horse motifs.

Engravers and enamellers have worked alternatively on this Year of the
Horse model. The leaf motif, stemming from classic Chinese iconography, is
directly engraved in the gold dial. With the horse engraving, on which the details
of the mane and coat measure a mere fraction of a millimetre, the artisan
provides a tangible expression of the artistic vision behind this creation.
This art piece carries 2460 G4 movement, 27 jewels. 18K gold hand-engraved
dial. Available for platinum or pink gold version. Limited to 12 pieces each.

Jaquet Droz is the first watchmaker to walk through the gates of the Forbidden City – and the Middle Kingdom. This year Jaquet
Droz launches three new Ateliers d’Art models that pay tribute to the sign of the Horse. Three exclusive models have been created
using the exclusive know-how of Jaquet Droz’s master craftsmen, specialized in highly complex techniques: engraving, painting
and Grand Feu enamel. Two Arab thoroughbreds have been delicately painted on the ivory enamel dial of 39 mm. A horse from
the American Northwest seems to jump out from the black enamel 43mm dial. The dial of 41 mm has been chosen to depict a in
18-carat red gold horse rearing up on its hind legs against a backdrop of the Great Wall of China, engraved and patinated by hand
on a mother-of-pearl dial. Each of these new models in a limited edition of 88 pieces.

Arnold & Son has created 28 pairs of watches, each featuring a
depiction of the horses often found in traditional Chinese ink
wash painting. The watches are powered by the A&S1001 calibre,
developed, designed and manufactured entirely at Arnold & Son’s
workshops in Switzerland. 18-carat rose gold, diamond-set bezel
available, diameter 40 mm, case back see-through sapphire. Limited
edition of 28 sets of 2 pieces.
