PRAGER fRÜHlING<br />
Bereits seit Kriegsende gibt es alljährlich dieses<br />
Musikfestival, bei dem sich herausragende Solisten und<br />
Orchester aus aller Welt treffen. 2011 ist das Gustav-<br />
Mahler-Jahr (100. Todestag) – deswegen versuchen sich<br />
400 Mitwirkende an der „Symphonie der Tausend“. Zur<br />
Eröffnung gibt es immer Smetanas Zyklus Mein Vater-<br />

land, zum Abschluss reist diesmal Sir Simon Rattle mit<br />
den Berliner Philharmonikern an, um Prag mit Mahlers 6.<br />

The 66th Annual Prague Spring International Music Festival<br />
