Mathematical Geodesy<br />

Inhalt Differential Geometry: space curves (curvature, torsion, moving trihedron), curved<br />
surfaces (surface theory, normal sections and geodesics on ellipsoids of revolution),<br />
space geometry.<br />
Geodesy: Earth dimensions, main geodetic problems, coordinate systems (Gauß,<br />
Soldner and others) and its transformations, mappings (conformal, equidistant) and its<br />
kinematic interpretation.<br />
Theory of functions: complex approach, Cauchy-Riemannn differential equations,<br />
transformations of the element of arc/metric tensor.<br />
Bemerkung The module element is a part of the module "SGN Global Navigation Satellite<br />
Systems"!<br />
