Runden pro Tag an und begeisterten Besucher, VIPs und
Aussteller.
Der Concours d’Elégance präsentierte einer Jury und einem
immer breiteren Publikum zum bereits fünften Mal eine
Parade von 10 Tagesbooten von weniger als 12 m, die zwischen
1935 und 2018 gebaut wurden, vor dem Festivalstrand.
Das Yachting Festival bekräftigte auch wieder seine Unterstützung
für die Société Nationale de Sauveteur en Mer
(Seerettung) und überreichte den Vertretern der Niederlassung
Cannes während des Welcome-Drinks der Aussteller
einen Scheck über 5.000 Euro.
Das nächste Cannes Yachting Festival findet vom 8. bis 13.
September 2020 statt.

A record number of visitors
After 6 exhibition days and despite an opening day somewhat
disrupted by rain, the 42nd edition of the Yachting Festival closed
its doors on Sunday September 15 having set new records for participation,
thereby consolidating its position as Europe’s leading inwater
boat show.
By reorganising its format, the Yachting Festival has managed to
retain its essential DNA and strength, with a wide selection of
exhibits (sailing boats, motorboats, monohull, multihull, new, second-hand,
small or large, in-water or on land) while also presenting
an enhanced offering with 611 exhibitors and 650 boats from
2 to 65 metres, including 213 new products, 127 of which were
making their world debut.
Over two days, 5 Tour Voile multihulls took part in a regatta off
Port Canto with logistics support from the Yacht Club de Cannes.
The teams competed over four rounds each day, delighting visitors,
VIPs and exhibitors.
Marking its 5th edition held on Saturday 14 September, the Concours
d’Elégance presented a parade of 10 day-boats, of less than
12 metres, built between 1935 and 2018, along the Yachting Festival
beach in front of the jury and an ever wider audience.
The Yachting Festival renewed its support for the Société Nationale
de Sauveteur en Mer (Sea Rescue) and presented the representatives
of the Cannes branch with a cheque for 5,000 euros
during the exhibitors’ »Welcome Drink«.
The next Cannes Yachting Festival will take place from September
8 to 13, 2020.

Nicht nur bei Tageslicht waren die Boote des Cannes Yachting Festivals eine Augenweide – nachts konnten zahlreiche, hell beleuchtete Yachten bestaunt werden.
Not only in daylight the boats of the Cannes Yachting Festival were a feast for the eyes. At night, numerous brightly lit yachts could be admired.
