INGREDIENTS<br />

Rice 5 tblspns Pistachio nuts 10-15<br />

Saffron a generous pinch Sugar % cup<br />

Milk 1 It Green cardamom powder ...}h tspn<br />

METHOD OF PREPARATION<br />

1 Pick, wash and soak rice for half an hour and then grind it to a coarse paste.<br />

Blanch pistachio nuts in hot water, cool, remove skin and slice.<br />

Bring milk to a boil. Add rice paste dissolved in a little water or cold milk.<br />

Cook till rice is completely cooked. Stir constantly. Add saffron and mix<br />

well.<br />

4 Add sugar, cardamom powder and cook till sugar is completely dissolved.<br />

£> Pour into earthenware or china bowls and garnish with sliced pista.<br />
