INGREDIENTS<br />

Gram flour (besan) V2 cup Chopped ginger 1 tblspn<br />

Cooked rice 2 cups Chaat masala 1 tspn<br />

Chopped green chillies 1 tblspn Salt as per taste<br />

Chopped onion V2 cup Oil for deep-frying<br />

Chopped green coriander ... 1 tblspn<br />

METHOD OF PREPARATION<br />

1 Mix all the above ingredients except oil. Add one-fourth cup water to 23<br />

make a thick batter.<br />

Heat oil in a kadai to a moderate heat.<br />

3 Spoon the batter into hot oil by using a tablespoon and deep fry till<br />

light golden brown.<br />

Drain on a paper napkin to remove excess oil and fry once again in<br />

very hot oil briefly.<br />

5 Serve hot with chutney <strong>of</strong> your choice.<br />

Chef's Tip : For this recipe you may also use leftover cooked rice.
