Ap—0 to 8 inches; black (N 2.5/0) loam, very dark<br />

gray (10YR 3/1) dry; moderate very fine granular<br />

structure; friable; many fine roots; slightly acid;<br />

abrupt smooth boundary.<br />

A—8 to 14 inches; black (N 2.5/0) loam, very dark<br />

gray (10YR 3/1) dry; moderate very fine and fine<br />

subangular blocky structure; friable; many fine<br />

roots; neutral; clear smooth boundary.<br />

Btg1—14 to 19 inches; dark grayish brown (2.5Y 4/2)<br />

loam; moderate fine subangular blocky structure;<br />
