Name Description Label
Very stony spot A spot where 0.1 to 3.0 percent of the surface cover is rock
fragments that are more than 10 inches in diameter in areas where
the surface cover of the surrounding soil is less than 0.01 percent
stones. Typically 0.2 acre to 2.0 acres.
Wet depression A shallow, concave area within an area of poorly drained or very
poorly drained soils in which water is ponded for intermittent
periods. The concave area is saturated for appreciably longer periods
of time than the surrounding soil. Typically 0.2 acre to 2.0 acres.
Wet spot A somewhat poorly drained to very poorly drained area that is at
least two drainage classes wetter than the named soils in the
surrounding map unit. Typically 0.2 acres to 2.0 acres.
