The ego's "miracle" is to try to fix <strong>the</strong> problem <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

level <strong>of</strong> form, <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> body and world. The Holy<br />

Spirit's miracle is <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> m<strong>in</strong>d, not <strong>the</strong> body and<br />

world.<br />

•<br />

Two m<strong>in</strong>ds that share <strong>the</strong> same purpose <strong>of</strong><br />

forgiveness are jo<strong>in</strong>ed as <strong>on</strong>e. The shared <strong>in</strong>terest <strong>of</strong><br />

forgiveness is <strong>the</strong> first step <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> bridge back to <strong>the</strong><br />

At<strong>on</strong>ement.<br />

•<br />

Hate is a symptom <strong>of</strong> fear, and fear is a call for love.<br />

All communicati<strong>on</strong> and behavior is ei<strong>the</strong>r an<br />

expressi<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> love or a call for love — this is <strong>the</strong><br />

visi<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit, and ours <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> holy <strong>in</strong>stant.<br />

•<br />

The ego believes it is made complete <strong>in</strong> its special<br />

love relati<strong>on</strong>ship when its needs are met by its<br />

partner <strong>in</strong> love; and is made <strong>in</strong>nocent <strong>in</strong> its special<br />

hate relati<strong>on</strong>ship as it projects its guilt <strong>on</strong>to its<br />

partner <strong>in</strong> hate. So <strong>the</strong> ego ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong>s its separate<br />

existence and believes it is made complete and<br />

<strong>in</strong>nocent <strong>in</strong> its special relati<strong>on</strong>ships — but pays a<br />

heavy price.<br />

•<br />

In <strong>the</strong> holy <strong>in</strong>stant <strong>the</strong>re is no separati<strong>on</strong>, no s<strong>in</strong>, guilt<br />

or fear; <strong>the</strong>re is no body, no world and no time —<br />

<strong>the</strong>re is <strong>on</strong>ly God's peace, love and wholeness.<br />

Forgiveness is <strong>the</strong> bridge that leads us from our<br />

percepti<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> separate bodies, to <strong>the</strong> true<br />

percepti<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> real world.<br />

•<br />

We first give away our true self as Christ, and <strong>the</strong>n<br />

give away our ego-self <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> sacrifice <strong>of</strong> special<br />

relati<strong>on</strong>ship, and we call that "love." The value <strong>of</strong><br />

special relati<strong>on</strong>ships is <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> opportunity <strong>the</strong>y give<br />

us to realize <strong>the</strong> egregious error we have made <strong>in</strong><br />

choos<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>sanity <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> ego thought system over<br />

<strong>the</strong> sanity, love and wholeness <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit.<br />

•<br />

The little spark is <strong>the</strong> memory <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> love <strong>of</strong> Christ <strong>in</strong><br />

our right m<strong>in</strong>d. The Great Rays refers to <strong>the</strong> light <strong>of</strong><br />

Christ which is our true Identity <strong>in</strong> Heaven.<br />

•<br />

To <strong>the</strong> ego, <strong>the</strong> purpose <strong>of</strong> special relati<strong>on</strong>ships is to<br />

gratify <strong>the</strong> needs <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> body, and ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> ego's<br />

special separate existence. As we cross <strong>the</strong> bridge<br />

from body c<strong>on</strong>sciousness to spirit c<strong>on</strong>sciousness, we<br />

are fulfilled <strong>in</strong> our identity with spirit, and see little<br />

value <strong>in</strong> special relati<strong>on</strong>ships based <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> body and<br />

world. In <strong>the</strong> transiti<strong>on</strong> we may temporarily<br />

experience some disorientati<strong>on</strong>.<br />

•<br />

"Cross<strong>in</strong>g over" is not <strong>the</strong> death <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> body, but<br />

refers to cross<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> bridge <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> m<strong>in</strong>d from <strong>the</strong><br />

illusory world <strong>of</strong> separati<strong>on</strong>, to <strong>the</strong> real world <strong>of</strong><br />

wholeness with spirit. From <strong>the</strong> ego's perspective we<br />

lose everyth<strong>in</strong>g by ga<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> real world. In <strong>the</strong> real<br />

world we realize we gave up noth<strong>in</strong>g to remember<br />

we are everyth<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

•<br />

Your true creati<strong>on</strong>s are love. It is love we seek and<br />

love that calls us Home.<br />

•<br />

When we believe we can atta<strong>in</strong> love, peace,<br />

wholeness and joy <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> bodies, we deny<br />

our true love, peace, wholeness and joy <strong>in</strong> our<br />

Identity with Christ; and we experience empt<strong>in</strong>ess.<br />
