Ma<strong>in</strong> Theme: The miracle and <strong>the</strong> aspect <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

miracle referred to as justice. Justice is <strong>the</strong> Holy<br />

Spirit's pr<strong>in</strong>ciple that nobody loses and everybody<br />

ga<strong>in</strong>s. Justice is <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit's answer to <strong>the</strong> ego's<br />

goal <strong>of</strong> murder <strong>in</strong> which somebody w<strong>in</strong>s and<br />

somebody loses.<br />

Introducti<strong>on</strong>: The ego's justice is that I am <strong>in</strong>nocent,<br />

and you are guilty and must die for my s<strong>in</strong>s that I<br />

have projected <strong>on</strong>to you. I ga<strong>in</strong> because I am<br />

<strong>in</strong>nocent; you lose because you are s<strong>in</strong>ful and are<br />

punished. The Holy Spirit's justice says that<br />

separati<strong>on</strong> and s<strong>in</strong> never happened; all are <strong>in</strong>nocent;<br />

everybody ga<strong>in</strong>s and nobody loses.<br />

In this chapter we also address <strong>the</strong> purpose <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

body and world from <strong>the</strong> ego's perspective with its<br />

desire to kill; and from <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit's perspective<br />

<strong>of</strong> forgiveness and heal<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

•<br />

The ego needs to impris<strong>on</strong> us <strong>in</strong> a body and world<br />

while keep<strong>in</strong>g us unaware that it is a pris<strong>on</strong> by<br />

distract<strong>in</strong>g us from our m<strong>in</strong>d where we could choose<br />

<strong>the</strong> miracle <strong>in</strong>stead <strong>of</strong> murder.<br />

•<br />

The Christ <strong>in</strong> you is <strong>the</strong> memory <strong>in</strong> your m<strong>in</strong>d <strong>of</strong><br />

who you are as Christ, God's <strong>on</strong>e S<strong>on</strong> <strong>in</strong> Spirit.<br />

•<br />

Forgiveness, <strong>the</strong> At<strong>on</strong>ement, salvati<strong>on</strong> and <strong>the</strong><br />

memory <strong>of</strong> our Identity with Christ are <strong>in</strong> our m<strong>in</strong>d,<br />

and are realized when <strong>the</strong> decisi<strong>on</strong> mak<strong>in</strong>g part <strong>of</strong><br />

our m<strong>in</strong>d chooses to be guided by <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit<br />

ra<strong>the</strong>r than <strong>the</strong> ego. When we are identified with <strong>the</strong><br />

ego we are distracted by <strong>the</strong> body and world so we<br />

are unable to use <strong>the</strong> power <strong>of</strong> our m<strong>in</strong>d to choose for<br />

<strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit.<br />

•<br />

Attack shows that <strong>the</strong> ego, s<strong>in</strong> and separati<strong>on</strong> from<br />

God are real, and serve to keep <strong>the</strong> love <strong>of</strong> Christ<br />

away. All attack is a call for love.<br />

•<br />

We have become so accustomed to liv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> ego's<br />

darkness <strong>of</strong> guilt, fear, hate and attack that we cannot<br />

bear <strong>the</strong> light <strong>of</strong> God's love. The ego cannot survive<br />

<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> light; it must rema<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong> darkness. This chapter<br />

makes reference to Plato's Cave Allegory.<br />

•<br />

S<strong>in</strong> says that <strong>the</strong> separati<strong>on</strong> from God is real and<br />

deserves punishment; so we flee <strong>the</strong> m<strong>in</strong>d, hide <strong>in</strong><br />

CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE<br />

THE JUSTICE OF GOD<br />

86<br />

<strong>the</strong> body and project our s<strong>in</strong> and guilt <strong>on</strong>to o<strong>the</strong>rs <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> world.<br />

•<br />

The orig<strong>in</strong>al change is <strong>the</strong> orig<strong>in</strong>al s<strong>in</strong> which is <strong>the</strong><br />

belief <strong>in</strong> separati<strong>on</strong> from God. Believ<strong>in</strong>g we are<br />

separate from God, we made a body with which we<br />

identified, <strong>the</strong>reby becom<strong>in</strong>g our own fa<strong>the</strong>r. By<br />

look<strong>in</strong>g at <strong>the</strong> orig<strong>in</strong>al change we realize that<br />

separati<strong>on</strong> never happened, which means <strong>the</strong>re is no<br />

orig<strong>in</strong>al s<strong>in</strong>, no ego, no separate body and no<br />

separate world.<br />

•<br />

The ego's separate existence is based <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> belief<br />

that "I ga<strong>in</strong>ed and God lost." The ego believes it<br />

atta<strong>in</strong>s its <strong>in</strong>nocence by project<strong>in</strong>g its s<strong>in</strong> and guilt<br />

<strong>on</strong>to some<strong>on</strong>e else and hav<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>m pay <strong>the</strong> price for<br />

s<strong>in</strong>. "I w<strong>in</strong> and you lose" is <strong>the</strong> ego's form <strong>of</strong> justice.<br />

The Holy Spirit's justice says, "The separati<strong>on</strong> from<br />

God never happened, <strong>the</strong>re is no orig<strong>in</strong>al s<strong>in</strong>; all are<br />

<strong>in</strong>nocent!"<br />

•<br />

The ego cannot exist without s<strong>in</strong>, guilt, c<strong>on</strong>flict and<br />

fear. Innocence is <strong>the</strong> great heresy <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> ego's<br />

thought system.<br />

•<br />

The ego is terrified <strong>of</strong> unc<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al love, as it is<br />

dissolved <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> light <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit's forgiveness<br />

and declarati<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>nocence <strong>of</strong> all. The ego<br />

needs s<strong>in</strong> and guilt to ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> its existence, and a<br />

body to call its home, pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> ego's reality.<br />

•<br />

The ego made <strong>the</strong> body and world as a depository for<br />

its s<strong>in</strong> and guilt, and as a hid<strong>in</strong>g place to avoid God's<br />

punishment for s<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g aga<strong>in</strong>st Him. Can we f<strong>in</strong>d<br />

love, peace and happ<strong>in</strong>ess <strong>in</strong> a place we made out <strong>of</strong><br />

s<strong>in</strong>, guilt and fear <strong>of</strong> God's vengeance?<br />

•<br />

The ego loves when we seek for love, peace and<br />

happ<strong>in</strong>ess through <strong>the</strong> body and world <strong>of</strong> special<br />

relati<strong>on</strong>ships because <strong>the</strong>re is no love, peace and<br />

happ<strong>in</strong>ess to be found <strong>the</strong>re. The ego's creed is "Seek<br />

but do not f<strong>in</strong>d." If we f<strong>in</strong>d true love, peace and<br />

happ<strong>in</strong>ess, <strong>the</strong> ego is dead. The ego can <strong>on</strong>ly live <strong>in</strong><br />

c<strong>on</strong>flict, fear and seek<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

•<br />

C<strong>on</strong>tent is <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> m<strong>in</strong>d; form is <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> body and<br />

world. Cause is <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> m<strong>in</strong>d; effect is <strong>the</strong> body and<br />

world. It is crucial to be clear <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> relati<strong>on</strong>ship <strong>of</strong><br />

c<strong>on</strong>tent and form; cause and effect. The c<strong>on</strong>tent <strong>of</strong>
