Landscape, both classic and abstract, embodies the majority of my work.
I am a creative photographer primarily functioning as a conduit and filter
for what is actually out there, a “receiver transmitter” whereby natural
beauty of subject passes through my eye, heart and hands, ultimately into
the mind of the viewer. Advancing my craft comes from challenging and
honing “my seeing eye”. Like revealing the layers of an onion, an ongoing
inward journey with outwardly expansive results as archival quality giclee
prints produced in house, to ensure absolute control.
directions: 6 Miles North of Castle Douglas on A713 Ayr Road before the village of
Parton itself turn right up track at lodge with red door.

Red Kite Trail / Loch Ken views (12). Views of Loch Ken are abundant from the
roads between New Galloway and Crossmichael.

I work primarily with willow making everything from living willow structures
and sculptures through to baskets. Using both traditional and contemporary
techniques I will be exhibiting a range of my recent designs. Also you will be
able to see me demonstrating how to make the ever popular plant supports.
directions: From Castle Douglas take the A713 north, turn left at the Kenbridge
Hotel towards New Galloway. As you enter the town continue along the High Street,
Catstrand is the old school building on the right hand side opposite the park.
