I work in most mediums to capture the essence of the wildlife along the<br />
Solway estuary and surrounding countryside. Since my childhood I have<br />
loved the infinite variety of light falling on the mudflats, the ebb and flow of<br />
the tide and the pattern of migratory birds. It <strong>is</strong> th<strong>is</strong> backdrop that provides<br />
me with the inspiration for my work. V<strong>is</strong>itors to my studio will be able to<br />
make the connection between my work, the stunning views, the birds and<br />

I have recently been experimenting in oil painting and enjoy working in th<strong>is</strong><br />
new medium. I am still drawn to plant form as subject matter, but hope to<br />
incorporate imaginative landscapes and pattern in these images. V<strong>is</strong>itors can<br />
view work in progress, my garden and the surrounding landscape, all used for<br />
inspiration. Cards and limited edition giglee prints are <strong>available</strong>, also studio<br />
