SWELOGS, Swedish Longitudinal <strong>Gambling</strong> Studies, is a longitudinal research programme<br />

on gambling <strong>and</strong> health in Sweden, which is managed <strong>and</strong> financed by<br />

the Swedish Institute <strong>of</strong> Public Health. The programme will follow changes regarding<br />

harm from excessive gambling. The objective is to improve knowledge in order<br />

to develop efficient preventive measures against gambling problems in society. An<br />

international research group is tied to the project which is conducted in collaboration<br />

with Karolinska Institute <strong>and</strong> Mid Sweden University.<br />
