and men would come to understand the Scrip<br />

mission only since the day of Pentecost, and<br />

would lose the faith in the mode of His eternal<br />

existence altogether, probably of His existence<br />

also as One Person in the Adorable Trinity.<br />

The great difficulty<br />

judice which Photius infused into the Greek<br />

in the Divine nature. We know how difficult,<br />

or to man impossible to eradicate, are those<br />

deep-rooted prejudices. Yet invincible pre<br />

judices are vincible by GOD. They yield to<br />

invincible prejudice,&quot;<br />

when overcome, opens the soul the more readily<br />

to truth. The broken barrier becomes an open<br />
