SINCE the above was written, I have seen<br />

that two speakers<br />

in a meeting of the<br />

Anglo- Continental Society have ventured to<br />

declare that the act of the Bishop of<br />

Illinois in communicating the Archbishop of<br />

Upsal<br />

The Bishop, probably, thought nothing less than<br />

that his act should commit the whole English<br />

Communion, unless it were repudiated. Since<br />

promised by the acts of an individual Bishop.<br />

It is painful to revert to a statement which<br />
