The amount of splinters within the Jettböle assemblage is large, 60%.<br />

This is valid even though the excavated material was sieved through<br />

0.5 cm mesh, and even though no water sieving was conducted. The<br />

original amount of splinters could therefore be somewhat higher<br />

than shown by the excavated material. The 60% from JI99 can be<br />

compared to the mere 28% from Bergmanstorp, trench 2.<br />
