feeling sic;, simply disappearing from command, not being able<br />

"a void, emergent tasking at work) to avoid having to provide a<br />

. CoiLection and Transportation of Urine Specimens. Commands<br />

2re responsible for collecting and shipping urine specimens per<br />

:hain ot custody procedures of reference (s). For purposes of<br />

zourts-marl-ial, other disciplinary and administrative<br />

proceedings, adequate chain of custody on samples is achieved<br />

hen the container is delivered to NDSL sealed without<br />

~ndlcatior of tampering as annotated by the lab on the chain of<br />

~~~stody document. Urine samples should be shipped to<br />

2pproprlats NDSL through regular mail channels and must meet<br />

packaging requirements contained in reference (w). For detailed<br />

guidance regarding collection and transportation of urine<br />

samples, aee appendix B of this enclosure.<br />

3 . NDSLs. NDSLs retain chain of custody documents and<br />

,+her paperwork on file for 3 years. The laboratory will also<br />
