L Retests Requested by Member. Members may request a<br />

L.. Command Determination of Drug Abuse<br />

a. OriLlr specimens which have been tested and confirmed<br />

posit~~i~ at a NDSL or other DoD-approved lab may be used for<br />

3dmlnistrat~ve or punitive action.<br />

r. A posritive laboratory report is considered forensic<br />

?vldence t k it- drug(s) or drug metabolite (s) are present in the<br />

rrlnp. k cross-check should be made with appropriate medical<br />

2nd dental records to determine whether the member was using<br />

ieqitimateLy prescribed medications or if any other valid reason<br />
