Diffusion[b] Method - work on his speciality. R.[iii] expressed
doubt about the possibility of remaining in the COUNTRY [STRANA][iv]
without arousing suspicion. According to what R. says, the
ISLANDERS [OSTROVITYaNE][v] and TOWNSMEN [GOROZhANE][vi] have
finally fallen out as a result of the delay in research work on
diffusion. The TOWNSMEN have told the representative of the
ISLAND[vii] that construction of a plant in the ISLAND “would be
in direct contradiction to the spirit of the agreement on
ENORMOUS [ĒNORMOZ][viii] signed together with the Atlantic
Charter.” At present the ISLAND’s director [RUKOVODITEL’] in
CARTHAGE [KARFAGEN][ix] is ascertaining the details of the transfer
of work to the ISLAND. R. assumes that he will have to leave in
a month or six weeks.
