The STORE[MAGAZIN][ii] has reported that many items<br />

[listed in][a] your radio order of 1943 have arrived at the<br />

MOSCOW Customs, addressed to Radio Factory No. 7; they include 13<br />

gasoline engines of the Pioneer firm and 35 radio receivers. They<br />

have not been collected. It is urgently necessary to collect the<br />

articles, otherwise they will be confiscated. ChERNYaK is sending<br />

a telegram from the Directorate of the CO<strong>MB</strong>INE[UPRAVLENIE KO<strong>MB</strong>IN-<br />

ATA][iii] to the STORE on the need to explain from whom they ac-<br />

cepted the order of Radio Factory No. 7 (your order of 1943).<br />

PETROV’s new order is not being accepted by the management<br />

[RUKOVODSTVO] of the STORE on the basis of a directive of the<br />

<strong>Center</strong>. All orders to the STORE must [D% come] from the <strong>Center</strong>.<br />

The order concerned must be given through ChERNYaK.<br />

Almost half a year of contact established with REST[iv]<br />

has demonstrated the value of his work <strong>for</strong> us. We consider it<br />

necessary to pay him <strong>for</strong> this half year the due reward of 500<br />

dollars. He fully deserves this sum. Telegraph consent.<br />
