Please sanction bringing in to our work MAMLYGA,<br />

Vitalij Semenovich (hence<strong>for</strong>th ĒMA[a]), a ship loading inspector<br />

in TYRE [TIR][i], <strong>for</strong>mer assistant political director of the<br />

SS “BIDENNYJ”. ĒMA is being used by us in the party line on<br />

surveillance of people employed in loading ships, has made a<br />

favourable showing of himself. In a telegram from VIKTOR[ii]<br />

of 12 th May 1944[iii] we were advised that ĒMA is not included in<br />

a net. At the same time please sanction handing over to his<br />

charge the [D% coastal] probationer, PATRIARCH [PATRIARKh][iv],<br />

who is being used on processing [OFORMLENIE] firms [3 groups unrecovered].<br />
