An introductory course treating of the scope, methods, and literature of geo-<br />
chemistry and specifically of the chemistry of minerals and rocks and rock-<br />
weathering. Prerequirite: Mathematics 3214, in advance or concurrently, Chem-<br />
istry 4104, and Geology 2217 or 3217.<br />
3325 Sedimentary Rocks ( $2) [ 325<br />
A study of the sedimentary rocks to be carried on both in the field and the<br />
laboratory. Students registering for this course must furnish their own trans-<br />
portation. Two lectures and one afternoon in the field or laboratory per week.<br />
Prerequisite: Twelve haurs of Geology.<br />

revealed in mineral grains and thin sections by the pebographic microscope.<br />
