Salem / Marion / Polk Continuum of Care
Background: This CoC serves Marion and Polk Counties, including the cities of Salem and Keizer.
The pro-rata share for this CoC is approximately $400,000. Because of their
successful applications, their awards for 2006 were about $800,000. Going forward,
the maximum possible bonus project would be $34,000 per year, which would likely
agencies interested in pursuing bonus projects for the 2008 application.
Process: The steering committee is called the Housing Collaborative, and evaluates and
prioritizes programs for funding prior to submitting the application. The CoC meets
bimonthly, second Friday at 10:30am. Next meeting is March 14, 2008.
