2.3.2 Results in relation to the selection of procedures, conditions and<br />

outcome measures (second research question)<br />

The literature search resulted in a long list of 65 procedures and conditions which were<br />

studied in the selected systematic reviews: 13 cardiovascular, 5 neurological, 5<br />

orth<strong>op</strong>aedic, 1 trauma, 3 int<strong>en</strong>sive care, 18 oncologic, 7 gastrointestinal, 6 medical, and<br />

7 miscellaneous. All these are listed in App<strong>en</strong>dix 6.
