4.2.2 SWO Analyzer<br />

SWO Analyzer (SWOAnalyzer.exe) is a tool that analyzes SWO output. Status and<br />

summary of the analysis are output to standard out, the details of the analysis are<br />

stored in a file.<br />

Usage<br />

SWOAnalyzer.exe <br />

This can be achieved by simply dragging the SWO output file created by the J-<strong>Link</strong><br />

DLL onto the executable.<br />

Creating an SWO output file<br />

In order to create the SWO output file, which is th input file for the SWO Analyzer,<br />

the J-<strong>Link</strong> config file needs to be modified.<br />

It should contain the following lines:<br />

[SWO]<br />

SWOLogFile="C:\TestSWO.dat"<br />

4.2.3 J-<strong>Link</strong> STR91x Commander (Command line tool)<br />

J-<strong>Link</strong> STR91x Commander (J<strong>Link</strong>STR91x.exe) is a tool that can be used to configure<br />

STR91x cores. It permits some STR9 specific commands like:<br />

• Set the configuration register to boot from bank 0 or 1<br />

• Erase flash sectors<br />

• Read and write the OTP sector of the flash<br />

• Write-protect single flash sectors by setting the sector protection bits<br />

• Prevent flash from communicate via JTAG by setting the security bit<br />
