Das Addendum 135-2010aq, Liftüberwachung,
muss hier auch noch erwähnt werden. Anfänglich
sollte der öffentliche Review im Mai enden.
Er wurde dann bis zum 27. August verlängert, um
der Liftindustrie zu ermöglichen, dieses Addendum
auf einer großen Konferenz anzukündigen
und danach genug Zeit für den Review zu haben.
Weitere Addenda in Arbeit
Das Addendum 135-2010ai, Network Port
Objekttyp, ging bereits durch einige Reviews.
Das Network Port Objekt erlaubt eine im Netzwerk
sichtbare Repräsentation und Modifikation
von Einstellungen von Netzwerkzugängen
wie BACnet / IP- oder MS / TP-Anschlüsse. Die
Internet Protocol Arbeitsgruppe (IP-WG) arbeitet
an der Erledigung von Kommentaren aus
dem letzen Review und der Komplettierung der
Features des Objekttyps. Für BACnet / IP wird
das Objekt die Verwendung von DNS Namen in
der Konfiguration von BBMDs ( BACnet Broadcast
Management Device) und Foreign Devices
unterstützen. Die DNS Adressauflösung wird
vor dem Füllen der effektiven Broadcast Distribution
Table (BDT) im BACnet Virtual Link
Layer (BVLL) mit den effektiven IP Adressen
gemacht. Features für die Unterstützung
von IPv6 werden mit dem IPv6 Addendum
135-2010aj eingebracht werden.
Das Addendum 135-2010aj, Support von IPv6,
war ebenfalls schon in einigen Reviews und ist
jetzt in Bearbeitung durch die IP-WG. Es wird zurzeit
vervollständigt bezüglich Funktionalität, und
um die notwendigen Zusätze zum Network Port
Objekt zu definieren. Sowohl BBMDs wie auch
Foreign Devices werden via das Network Port
Objekt konfiguriert werden, es wird keine entsprechenden
IPv6 BVLL Meldungen mehr geben.
Darum braucht dieses Addendum einen fertiggestellten
Network Port Objekttyp, ohne IPv6
Aspekte natürlich, um die definitiven Änderungen
daran für IPv6 fertigstellen zu können.
Das Addendum 135-2010am, Erweiterungen
für BACnet Web Services, ging im Herbst 2011
durch den ersten Advisory Public Review (APR1).
Dieses Addendum ersetzt die jetzigen auf SOAP
basierenden BACnet Web Services durch einen
RESTful Ansatz basierend auf dem ATOM Publishing
Protokol. Die XML Arbeitsgruppe (XML-WG)
arbeitet an der nächsten Version des Entwurfs
für einen öffentlichen Review. Einige Aufbesserungen
wurden seit dem APR gemacht, wie etwa
für die Modellierung von Topologien, den kompletten
Ersatz der SOAP basierten Dienste, protokollunabhängige
Strukturen für Interfaces, und
ein vereinfachter Zugang zu Trend- und Event-
Aufzeichnungen.
Das Addendum 135-2010an, Erweiterte Frames
für MS / TP, war ebenfalls im APR1 im Herbst
2011. Dieses Addendum fügt große Nachrichtenrahmen
zu MS / TP hinzu, und befähigt
MS / TP, IPv6 Nachrichten zu übertragen. Die
MS / TP Arbeitsgruppe (MSTP-WG) bearbeitet
Kommentare aus dem APR, sowie am reibungslosen
Nebeneinander von kleinen und
großen BACnet Meldungen neben den IPv6
Nachrichten. Zur Vervollständigung unterstützt
die Gruppe die Arbeit an einem Internet Entwurf
in der IETF IPv6 Wartungsgruppe (6man)
für eine Anbindung von IPv6 an MS / TP (draftlynn-6man-6lobac).
Das Addendum 135-2010ap, Application Interfaces
Methoden und Infrastruktur, beendete
seinen ersten APR im Mai. Die Arbeitsgruppe
für Anwendungsprofile (AP-WG) bearbeitet die
Kommentare und bereitet eine neue Version für
den öffentlichen Review vor. Die Gruppe beabsichtigt,
diese Version im Frühling 2013 in den
Review schicken zu können.

über Public Reviews, Publikationen von Standards
sowie Komitee Meeting Ankündigungen,

The ASHRAE SSPC 135 BACnet Committee
assembled in May for another interim meeting
at the Pacific Energy Center in San Francisco,
CA. In June, as part of the ASHRAE Annual Conference,
the committee met in San Antonio,
BACnet­Insight
TX, during a heat wave with temperatures at
or above 40 °C (104 °F). Everyone was happy
to meet inside buildings where air conditioning,
perhaps controlled by BACnet, was in operation,
cooling down meeting rooms to more comfortable
temperatures, or sometimes, beyond.
The San Francisco meeting was scheduled to
take place right after the spring public review of
a number of BACnet and Test standard addenda
drafts. Thus, the focus was on resolution of
public review comments and preparation of the
next revisions of addenda drafts. Some working
groups had spare time to work on new topics.
Since there was no quorum, approval of finalized
comment responses and interpretation
request responses were letter-balloted after the
meeting.
In San Antonio, work was continued on comment
responses and revisions of addenda drafts. Also,
a number of new topics were considered by the
working groups, and some were recommended
for public review. Since there was again no quorum,
a letter ballot took place after the meeting
to approve interpretation requests and public
review drafts of addenda.
25 years of BACnet committee
The committee celebrated the 25 year existence
of the BACnet committee. It all started out in
Nashville, TN, in June 1987 as Standard Project
Committee 135P (SPC 135P). Mike Newman,
Steven Bushby and David Fisher were honored
for their service to the BACnet committee over
these 25 years. Also, San Antonio was the place
where the first meeting of the Standing Standard
Project Committee (SSPC 135) took place in
1996, taking up continuous maintenance of the
BACnet standard.
The Swan Award 2012, donated by PolarSoft in
memory of Bill Swan, was presented to Carl Neilson
for outstanding service to the committee.
At the conclusion of the San Antonio meeting,
the four-year term of the current committee
officers came to an end. The gavel was handed
over to Carl Neilson, Delta Controls, chair of the
committee for the next four years. Carl Neilson
honored Dave Robin, Automated Logic, for his
tireless work as committee chair over the past
