Das Standardisierungskommittee SAC /TC426 plant die Einrichtung einer BACnet
Standardisierungs-Arbeitsgruppe. Es wird dabei von Vertretern des CEN TC247,
von BACnet International sowie von der BIG-EU aktiv unterstützt.
The Standardization Committee SAC /TC426 plans to set up a BACnet standardization
working group. For this project, it is actively supported by representatives of CEN TC247,
by BACnet International and BIG-EU.
Das „Nationale Standardisierungskommittee für intelligente Gebäude
und Digitalisierung von Wohngebäuden“ (SAC / TC426) richtete im
vergangenen September in Peking einen Workshop zur Machbarkeit aus.
Seit diesem Workshop, der unter Mitarbeit von Siemens durchgeführt
wurde, hat das SAC / TC426 seine Anstrengungen bei der Vermarktung
des BACnet Standards in China kontinuierlich intensiviert. Nach dem letzten
General Meeting im März entschied das SAC / TC426, eine Arbeitsgruppe
(WG) „Standardisierung“ einzurichten mit dem Ziel, BACnet innerhalb
der nächsten zwei Jahre als nationalen chinesischen Standard zu
etablieren.
Kick­off­Meeting steht an
Nach Angaben des stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden des SAC / TC426,
Yonggang Zhang, wird die Arbeitsgruppe aus einem Sekretariat, sowie
aus den Teilgruppen „Advisory“, „Standard-Drafting“ und „Promotion“
bestehen. Einige der führenden Hersteller, Berater und Planungsinstitute
haben ihr Interesse an einer Mitarbeit in der Working Group signalisiert.
Bei einem Kick-Off-Meeting sollen die Rechte und Pflichten der Kernmitglieder
sowie der allgemeinen Mitglieder festgelegt werden.
Marktdurchdringung forcieren
Die Konvertierung des BACnet Standards soll innerhalb der kommenden
zwei bis drei Jahre abgeschlossen sein. Nach Abschluss der Konvertierung
wird die Working Group ihre Aktivitäten auf dem Gebiet der Promotion
und Verbreitung im chinesischen Markt fortsetzen. Da die Marktdurchdringung
in China noch in den Kinderschuhen steckt, sieht Zhang „die Standardisierung
lediglich als die eine Seite der Medaille. Deren andere Seite, die
Erforschung der Märkte und deren Durchdringung ist mindestens genauso
wichtig.“ Er hofft, dass der BACnet Standard eine wichtige Rolle in einer
standardisierten Gebäudeautomation in China spielen wird.
Roland Ullmann und Klaus Wächter als Vertreter des CEN TC247
sowie als Vertreter von BACnet International bzw. BIG-EU haben das
SAC / TC426 bislang aktiv unterstützt. Yonggang Zhang freut sich auf
einen weiteren Austausch und hofft auf eine Fortführung der Unterstützung
durch BI und BIG-EU in Form einer Beteiligung an der neuen

Since the National Standardization Technical Committee for Intelligent
Building and Residential Digitalization (SAC / TC426) held
the BACnet standardization feasibility workshop, co-organized by
Siemens last September in Beijing, the SAC-TC426 has continued to
intensify promotion of the BACnet standardization process in China.
After its general meeting in March, the SAC / TC426 decided to establish
the official standardization working group, so as to converse
BACnet into Chinese national standards within the next 2 to 3 years.
Planning meeting will be held
According to the deputy head of SAC / TC426, Yonggang Zhang, the
standardization working group will be made up of Secretariat, Advisory
Sub-Group, Standard Drafting Sub-Group, and Promotion Sub-
Group. Some leading manufacturers and consultancies and planning
institutes are interested in joining the working group. A planning meeting
will be held to delineate the rights and duties of core members,
as well as general members.
Enforcing market penetration
The conversion of BACnet standards will probably last 2 to 3 years.
After it is complete, the standardization working group will continue
its regular work with the focus upon market promotion. Since the
market penetration of BACnet in China is far from mature, Zhang
emphasized that “…standardization is just one side of the coin, the
market cultivation and penetration as the other side of the coin is
also very important”. He hopes that the BACnet standards will play
an important role in standardization of the building automation market
in China.

as well as BIG-EU and BI have supported SAC / TC426 actively. Zhang
welcomes further exchanges and support from BIG-EU and BI as group
