Eliminate missing rows<br />

Non-stacked columns<br />

To stack selected columns into two or more columns, check the box<br />

beside Multiple series stack. Specify the number of columns into<br />

which you want the selected columns to be stacked by entering the<br />

number into the Number of Series box. This box appears when you<br />

check the box beside Multiple series stack.<br />

Select the Contiguous option if the series consists of adjacent<br />

columns.<br />

See “Example of Stacking into More than One Column” on page 176.<br />

Note: The order in which you add columns to the box on the right<br />

determines the group to which they belong.<br />

Leaving Stack by Row unchecked stacks one column underneath<br />

another. Checking it stacks columns by rows.<br />

To eliminate missing data from the new table, check the box beside<br />

Eliminate missing rows. If Stack by Rows is checked also, only rows<br />

with all data missing are eliminated.<br />

Includes or drops non-stacked columns from the new data table. Select<br />

one of these options:<br />

Keep All select this option if you want the new table to contain all of<br />

the non-stacked columns from the original table.<br />

Drop All select this option if you want to include only the stacked<br />

columns in the new table, and you do not want to include any<br />

non-stacked columns.<br />

Select Choose the non-stacked columns that you want to include or<br />

drop in the new table.<br />

To keep this window open after clicking OK, check the box beside<br />

Keep dialog open.<br />

Adds the columns that you want to stack.<br />

Removes any highlighted columns.<br />

(Optional) To name the new table, type a name in the box beside<br />

Output table name.<br />

To assign a name to the column that will contain the data for the<br />

stacked columns, enter a name in the Stacked Data Column box.<br />

Leave the box empty if you do not want this column to appear in the<br />

new table.
