Import Data <strong>Using</strong> the Excel Add-In<br />

Uninstall Previous Versions of the Excel Add-In<br />

<strong>JMP</strong> automatically installs the Excel Add-In for your version of Excel. If you have a previous version of this<br />

add-in, uninstall it:<br />

1. Open the Windows Add or Remove Programs utility (in the Control Panel).<br />

2. Select <strong>JMP</strong>_ExcelAddinSetup and click Uninstall.<br />

About the <strong>JMP</strong> Add-In for Excel<br />

The <strong>JMP</strong> add-in for Excel is installed in the following areas, depending on the version of Excel that you<br />

have:<br />

• In Excel 2010, all options are on the <strong>JMP</strong> ribbon.<br />

• In Excel 2007, all options are on the <strong>JMP</strong> ribbon.<br />

• In Excel 2003, the menu is in the toolbar on a <strong>JMP</strong> button that produces a menu of options.<br />

The functionality for all commands is the same for all versions of Excel.<br />

Excel 2007 and 2010<br />

The <strong>JMP</strong> add-in commands for Excel 2007 and Excel 2010 are in two groups:<br />

Transfer to <strong>JMP</strong><br />

Preferences<br />

Data Table<br />

Set preferences for transferring data from Excel to <strong>JMP</strong>.<br />

Transfer the selected data in your Excel file to a <strong>JMP</strong> data table.<br />

Graph Builder Transfer the selected data in your Excel file to a <strong>JMP</strong> data table and launch the Graph<br />

Builder platform.<br />

Distribution<br />
