Select one of the options from the menu:<br />

Always When you quit <strong>JMP</strong>, the session is always automatically saved.<br />

Never<br />

When you quit <strong>JMP</strong>, the session is never saved.<br />

Prompt When you quit <strong>JMP</strong>, you are asked if you would like to save the<br />

session.<br />

Laser pointer<br />

Show conditional<br />

formatting<br />

<strong>JMP</strong> has a built-in laser pointer that enables you to visually emphasize parts<br />

of a report. It is off by default.<br />

To turn it on, select a color for the laser pointer from the menu.<br />

Conditionally formats the color of the text that represents the values.<br />

Available for correlation values, p-values, and factor pattern values. See<br />

“Select Points in Plots” on page 279 in the “<strong>JMP</strong> Platforms” chapter.<br />

p-values, and factor pattern values.<br />

Screen Only Conditional formatting is always applied to correlation<br />

values, p-values, and factor pattern values. However, the conditional<br />

formatting does not show when the report is printed.<br />

Never Conditional formatting is never applied to correlation values,<br />

p-values, and factor pattern values.<br />

Manage Rules<br />

Creates custom conditional formatting rules that can be applied to numeric<br />

columns or matrices.<br />

Graphs<br />

Graph preferences customize the appearance of graphs.
