Categorical Alternate<br />

For categorical variables, indicates the element to display when there are<br />

more rows than the Points limit can handle. The default value is Box Plot,<br />

or you can select from the following options:<br />

• None<br />

• Line<br />

• Smoother<br />

• Box Plot<br />

• Bar<br />

• Histogram<br />

Jitter<br />

Indicates whether jittering is on by default. Small spaces are displayed<br />

between the data points so that you can see each point more clearly. (Only<br />

applies to elements that support jittering.)<br />

Text Data Files<br />

Text Data File preferences customize the handling of importing and exporting text files.<br />
