Application:
In workshops and to illuminate and indicate
escape routes according to DIN VDE
0108.
Mechanical design:
Enclosure: glass fibre reinforced polyester
with foamed polyurethane gasket.
Diffuser: clear, stippled, impact resistant
acrylic glass (PMMA) or polycarbonate
glass (PC), hinged on one side.
Fasteners: single plastic clamps (KK). Also
available with stainless steel clamps (KE)
on request.
Reflector: removable white sheet steel,
complete with electronic components.
Rotary fasteners for quick assembly.
Electrical connection: 3/4-pole connection
terminal.
Cable entries: Variable, closed knock-outs
on the short and long sides, and on the
top, for looping the mains cable. 2 blanking
plugs M20.
Through-wiring: Classic, up to 7 x
2,5mm² or 5 x 4mm² possible. Alternatively
looping the cable at one end.
Mounting system: 2 holes for ceiling
mounting. Rubber gaskets and U-washers
for sealing are supplied inside the
fitting.

Electrical design:
Built-in NiCd battery, a constant trickle
charge to the battery ensures readiness
of operation at all times.
Visual function monitoring the battery
charging process with LED.
Electronic deep discharge protection
Recharging time: 24 hours acc. to EN
60598-2-22.
Modes of operation:
Maintained mode = change-over to battery
operation on mains failure. With the
2-lamp version, only one lamp is operated
as emergency lighting (Series
164…).

-5°C to +30°C for maintained mode
-5°C to +40°C for stand-by mode
