Application:
As power supply for light fittings with up
to 200W which are installed separately
from the "N"-device in a different room.
It is especially recommended in cases in
which the existing environmental conditions
prohibit the use of fittings with selfcontained
battery sets.
Mechanical design:
Housing: Polycarbonate, grey (RAL
9006), cover screwed to the housing.
Battery and electronic device:
Each in a separate housing acc. to DIN
EN 50272-2. Battery compartment with
aeration opening
Mounting: Direct wall mounting (borings
of Ø 6,0mm)
Installation: Plug-type terminals (up to
2,5mm 2 )
Admissible ambient temperature:
-5°C up to +35°C
Insulation class: I
Attention: Installation of this power supply unit is allowed
outside the hazardous area only. Distance between
the light fitting and the "N" unit: 500m
max.Voltage drop to be considered acc. to VDE 0100.

Emergency power supply unit with battery
for operating 1 or 2 fluorescent light
fittings with electronic ballast (EVG).
Emergency light electronic device with
deep discharge protection and switchover
system for mains/emergency operation.
Automatical monitoring acc. to
EN 62034. The consumer loads will be
monitored by a self- adjusting performance
control device. Manual actuation
of the functional tests and display of
messages and malfunctions via a combined
foil touch screen.
Interface for remote controlling the operating
state via external switch. Interface
for malfunction indication.
Battery set: With maintenance-free leadbattery

Modes of operation:
Maintained or stand-by operation
Maintained operation: Switching to battery
operation in case of mains failure.
Stand-by operation: Emergency lamp
switches on in case of mains failure only.

Suitable for:
Light fittings for fluorescent tubes with
EVG: For double lamp fittings with double
EVG, please consider double consumption
or use fittings with 2 EVG
(separating the systems)
Note:
The EVG in the light fittings connected
to the power supply unit must be suitable
for DC and AC operation.
