Remove large "0" ring seal from back of flywheel (torus<br />
cover to flywheel seal).<br />
Remove driven torus Truarc snap ring from main shaft<br />
(Fig. 30).<br />

CAUTION: Do not attempt to remove torus cover<br />
and drive torus together.<br />
Remove bronze thrust washer and steel backing washer<br />
from sun gear to torus hub (Fig. 32).<br />

Front Snap Ring<br />
Remove driven torus member from main shaft by sliding<br />
forward. If member sticks, tap end of main shaft with soft<br />
hammer and at the same time, pull out torus member.<br />
Remove driven torus member rear Truarc snap ring from<br />
main shaft (Fig. 31).<br />
Remove drive torus member Truarc snap ring from intermediate<br />
shaft.<br />
Remove drive torus member.<br />
