DISASSEMBLY OF CASE SUPPORT,<br />
NEUTRAL CLUTCH, AND REAR UNIT<br />
Remove case support holding tool J-6135, backing off<br />
set screw far enough to prevent damage to machined surface<br />
at front of intermediate shaft.<br />
Remove hook type oil ring from intermediate shaft by<br />
pushing one end toward the center of shaft and other away<br />
from shaft to unhook the oil ring (Fig. 61).<br />

NOTE: Leave rings in place on piston and case hub<br />
support.<br />
Remove neutral clutch drum assembly which contains<br />
five composition clutch plates, four steel clutch plates,<br />
and five release springs (Fig. 63).<br />
