Project Site/Organization Project Description 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 Future Notes
The purposes of the National Historic Trail
can only be achieved if visitors have
opportunities to understand the relevance
of a place in the context of the Trail’s
themes, stories and historic events. To
accomplish that objective, site-based
interpretive media and programming
should be developed for access points, for
places of cultural, historical and natural
interest, and for information centers. The
actions listed below will -- when
implemented -- help visitors make their
own connections with the meanings and
significance of the Trail’s natural and
cultural resources.
