The quantum, per head, was considerably lessened, as visitors travel in groups, and the guide cost was spread out evenly, depending on the group numbers. Twelve percent (12%) considered the guiding fees as cheap; possibly this group represented foreigners, typically Singaporeans that visit GSSP. m. Length of Stay Figure 4.13. Typically, for the first day, after alighting from the train, they do a spot of caving at the Gua Ikan group of caves. They then go to Baha Camp where they stay overnight. The next day, they make ascents to G. Stong or G. Ayam, from which they descend to Baha Camp on the same day (or the following day), and return to Dabong to catch the return train back to Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. Twelve percent (12%) of those surveyed stayed for four days or more, to rest or to explore other areas, after climbing G. Ayam or G. Stong. 53
