4. To remove the solenoid plunger, remove one of the E-Clips and flat washer (M6).<br />
Withdraw the Solenoid Shaft releasing the spacers and spring.<br />

5. Reassemble in the reverse order<br />
Note: When refitting the solenoid plunger ensure that the spring hook is in contact<br />
with the side of the spring spacer.<br />

Note: After replacing the Flat Target solenoid, it is recommended that a good quality<br />
Silicone Grease is applied to the solenoid shaft and to the supports for the<br />
solenoid spring.<br />
After replacing the solenoid, ensure that the solenoid position is adjusted<br />
correctly. (See section 6-6 page 45)<br />
