Chapter 1. Operator Controls Show Print Station Information To show a printhead’s data, select a printhead and More Detail. PIC/Jetting Module Status The PIC/Jetting Module Status text field shows the status of a printhead. The background color shows the printhead status. • Gray—the usual background color • Yellow—a prompt or information message is shown • Yellow or pink—a warning or error message is given Sequence The Sequence text field shows the sequence that the printhead is passing through. This data is for state table version 1.501. The background changes to yellow for a warning or pink for an error. Chapter 1. Operator Controls Show Print Station Information State The State text field shows the state of a PIC/jetting module during a sequence. Each sequence can have more than one state. As the PIC/jetting module goes through each state, the parameters are adjusted. Time Remaining The Time Remaining text field shows the time remaining before the PIC/ jetting module reaches the end of the sequence. The time is measured in seconds. In some sequences, the time will stop at or suddenly move to “0” (zero). When the PIC/jetting module completes the sequence, “FINISHED” shows in the text field. Status This data is shown when the More Detail button is selected. The current readings for the parameters are shown in the text fields under the Measurement column. Warnings and errors related to the parameters are shown in the Info column. The background changes to yellow for a warning or pink for an error. • PIC/Jetting Module Status—the warnings and errors related to the printhead interface. • Pressure—the amount of ink pressure that is applied to the printhead and the pressure warnings and errors. • Vacuum Servo—the amount of vacuum present in the ink tank and the vacuum warnings and errors. • Negative Duct Pressure—shows negative (vacuum) pressure in the ducts. • Positive Duct Pressure—shows positive pressure in the ducts. • Ink/Amb °C—the temperature of the ink and air in the printhead and the temperature warnings and errors. • Ink Concentration—shows the ink concentration as a percentage. • Ink Level—any errors associated with the volume of ink in the print station.
