equivalent to June. (This month is also called

To treat someone gently (as though they
were fragile).
Nikaginngillugu
To not treat someone as though they were
fragile.

To wait for the seal to come to its breathing
hole.
Nuaq
A niece or nephew of a woman from her
sister or female cousin.
Nukaq
Younger sibling of the same gender as
yourself.
Nukatugaq
Caribou calf about one year old.
Nunu-
Holding back.
Nurrait
Caribou calves; the month of ”caribou
calves.” The month equivalent to June. In
Kivalliq this is May. (This month is also
called Manniit.)
Nurralaaq
A newborn caribou calf with blackish fur.
Nurralik
A female caribou with calf.
