When were you born?<br />

Saullu: 1926. In Uummanarjuaq.<br />

Who were your parents?<br />

Saullu: Leetia and Naujuk.<br />

Where were your parents born?<br />

Saullu: I don’t know where my father’s mother was born. She wasn’t born in our area.<br />

I think she was from the Kinngait area.<br />

How many children do you have?<br />

Saullu: I have given birth twelve times.<br />

Who are your children?<br />

Saullu: Laimi is the eldest. The one before him died, therefore Laimi is the oldest.<br />

Mosesie, Jacopie, Ooleepa, Leetia, Joneeli, Jeela, Silasie: these are the ones that are alive;<br />

and I have three adopted ones.<br />
