►Rest Stop Intercept
Requires approaching drivers who have stopped at
a rest stop
If the rest stop is privately owned, the cooperation
of the owner will be needed to conduct the survey;
this cooperation may be difficult to acquire and may
impose limits to the sampling method
High degree of self selection bias dependent on the
driver’s s desire to stop at that location
