► Proportionate Share
Formulaic assessment of a DRI’s impact to the region’s
infrastructure in order to identify the amount to be paid to
mitigate that impact
Proportionate Fair Share is a separate designation
applicable to sub-DRI developments that fail concurrency
Permits the development to continue by allowing the developer
an opportunity to offset the impact of the development by
contributing to the improvement of the affected infrastructure
All local jurisdictions were required to adopt ordinances
governing the Proportionate Fair Share process by December
1st, 2006
