Inconvenience Component
Boarding Penalty – Fixed penalty applied at each boarding. A
boarding represents the start of a journey or an interchange. The
default assumes no penalty.
Transfer Penalty – Represents the inconvenience of
transferring between modes and is applied at transfer locations.
Transfer penalties can be applied between the same mode or
between different mode combinations.
Cost Component
Fares – The modeling of fares includes three major components:
• Consideration of fares in the Route Choice
• Skimming of fares for each zone pair
• Calculating and reporting of revenue
