Exporting a Network to a Shapefile Step 2 Instructions: Open up the loaded highway network. ► Double-click on the Loaded Daily Network file under Outputs\Assignment in the Data window. Navigate to the C:\FSUTMS FSUTMS\general\ Olympus\Media folder and select Link Shape Files (*.shp shp) from the Save as Type window. The file name can remain as “HWYLOAD_B00”. 3. Open up Windows Explorer and navigate to the C:\FSUTMS FSUTMS\general\Olympus \Media folder. 2. Verify that you have three GIS pointer files: HWYLOAD_B00.shp, HWYLOAD_B00.shx, and HWYLOAD_B00.dbf.
