Dear Ms. Lennox:<br />
On behalf of the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> County Regional <strong>Airport</strong> Authority, Ricondo & Associates, Inc. (R&A),<br />
is preparing an Environmental Assessment in compliance with the National Environmental Policy<br />
Act (NEPA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidance for proposed northside<br />
improvements at the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> <strong>International</strong> <strong>Airport</strong> (<strong>Airport</strong>) in <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong>, California. The FAA<br />
has requested that we contact the South Coastal Information Center to identify any National Register<br />
sites within or near the proposed work site (within ¼- mile).<br />
The northside improvements are proposed to be constructed primarily on <strong>Airport</strong> property located on<br />
the north and east sides of the <strong>Airport</strong>. The Area of Potential Effect for the proposed project is<br />
shown on the attached U.S. Geological Survey 7.5’ Quadrangle map (Point Loma Quad Map). The<br />
approximate limits of the project, in UTM (Zone 11) coordinates, are:<br />

The <strong>Airport</strong> address is 3225 North Harbor Drive, <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong>, California. A completed Access<br />
Agreement is also attached to this letter. Due to the fast-track nature of this project, I would like to<br />
request a Priority Response – we agree to pay the 50 percent surcharge associated with a Priority<br />
Response.<br />
