Entirely private, family reasons have pushed Ante<br />
Madunić, a lawyer with a multi-year career in diplomacy<br />
and economics, to sail into <strong>the</strong> waters of <strong>the</strong><br />
construction business. A two-time consul within <strong>the</strong><br />
business management of <strong>the</strong> Ministry of Foreign Affairs – in<br />
Frankfurt and Zurich, an adviser for foreign investments in<br />
Croatia (especially in <strong>the</strong> field of tourism), a successful businessmen<br />
and hotelier in Germany with <strong>the</strong> experience of<br />
running a small family hotel near Munich, and <strong>the</strong> owner of<br />
<strong>the</strong> Globo Hotel in Split for <strong>the</strong> last two years – he has finally<br />
decided, after all those years spent abroad, to afford a<br />
permanent home in his country for his family, and in <strong>the</strong><br />
very town he grew up in. And because he learned to appreciate<br />
<strong>the</strong> value of peaceful neighbourhoods outside of<br />
<strong>the</strong> city centre’s romp (which is just now starting to appear<br />
“through <strong>the</strong> back door” as a desirable and top-quality<br />
residential model in Croatia) as a diplomat, his first choice<br />
for <strong>the</strong> location was <strong>the</strong> south-eastern, not-overcrowded<br />
