trades like welding etc are

• Imparting Training to the rural
youths and the PAPs by
CCL in the fields of Computer
Training, Motor Driving and
other Training programmes
like Agricultural by The Indian
Council for Agricultural
Research, Palandu, Ranchi.
Further support is extended
to the Fishery Department of
Jharkhand which provides
Training in fisheries in &
around the command areas of
CCL.
• Embroidery & Tailoring
Programme for Villagers,
Distribution of Sewing Machine,
Teacher’s Honorarium
for Sewing Training center,
Cutting / Stitching Materials,
Establishment of Embroidery
center at Jaitpur,
Motor Driving Training etc.

MOU with Chattishgarh
Center for Entrepreneurship

the youth around mining

impart mining skills to PAPs /
Villagers & Contract workers
in vocational Training centers
to increase their employability
are also being conducted
by SECL
• Skill development initiates
also include sponsoring ITI
Hirakud, in the district of
Sambalpur and ITI Talcher in
the District Angul by MCL.
• Possibilities are being explored
to extend financial
support to different NGOs
for imparting training in the
fields of art & culture, education,
vocational training, computer
training to the physically
challenged children as well
as to those who are suffering
from autism, cerebral palsy,
mental retardation etc.
