NLC is running a Central
Electricity Authority (CEA) approved
Thermal Training Centre
for developing skills of employees
working in Thermal Power
Stations. This institute offers training
programmes related to operation
and Maintenance of Thermal
Plants, emerging new technology,
and on specialised areas like
Boiler Pressure Parts, Furnace
Safeguard supervisory systems,
Fuel firing systems, Furnace temperature
probe, Air pre-heaters,
Dust collectors, Turbine Control
& Instrumentation, Transformers,
etc.

employees
NLC is running an exclusive
Vocational Training Centre for
the benefit of employees including
workmen engaged through
contractors in Mines for imparting
safety and skill development
for employees working
in Mines wherein these
employees are trained on Safety,
Conveyor & Vulcanising technology,
Operation of Special Mining
equipments and Conveyors.
