RCF’s Positive Approach to Skill
Development & Capacity Building

With dynamic changes
in business environment
on global level,
the latest technologies, effective
training methodologies and new
management philosophies have
to be continuously adopted and
implemented.
The current scenario in most of
the companies is similar, which
is dealing with skills gap, lack
of required skill qualified employees,
simultaneously losing
of experienced professionals on
separation/superannuation.
Keeping these things in mind,
one of our primary goals at RCF
is to upgrade the quality of human
resources continuously by
promoting organisational and
management development.
This article will give an insight of
the skill development and capacity
building initiatives adopted
by RCF.
About RCF
RCF is a leading fertilizers and
chemicals manufacturing company
with about 80 percent of its
equity held by the Government of
India. RCF was incorporated on
March 6, 1978 on re-organization
of the erstwhile FCI. Government
of India has accorded “Mini
Ratna” status to RCF.
RCF has been accredited ISO
9001:2008 for quality, ISO
14001:2004 for environment,
OHSAS 18001:2007 for occupational
health and safety. We now
follow Integrated Management
System, which is a combination
of all the three systems.
At present RCF has two operating
units, one at Mumbai and the
other at Thal.
